This visit is the latest in a series of trips to Turkey as part of her work to bring attention to the plight of refugees

"The United Nations estimates that more than 60 million people across the world have fled their countries
displaced by war, violence and persecution. Half of these people are children.
Germany is one of those countries struggling to cope with new arrivals, and 400,000 asylum seekers are expected to end up there this year.
One of the the hardest-hit areas in Germany is Passau on the Austrian border, where hundreds of children are being taken by people traffickers.
